Facilitation. Helping small teams or groups up to 300 people have work conversations of value
How can I help?
Sometimes you just need to get everyone in the same room, face-to-face, for a real conversation, so you can get a grip, get creative, get on the same same page and get action.
Maybe you’ve a problem that’s best solved, and quickly, through live, collaborative and creative problem-solving and planning, that cuts across functional, organisation and geographic boundaries.
Or maybe you need to make change happen, and broadcasting messages back and forth isn’t going to hack it.
And you’ll want to enable the work relationships that make, well, everything work.
So what sort of needs have clients addressed through our facilitated events?
- Unblocking stuck projects
- Getting genuine leadership/team alignment - and actual movement on a shared vision, values...
- Figuring-out how to meet some massively complex, large-scale challenge that cuts across boundaries and that no one can solve independently
- Visioning and Strategic Planning
- Communication campaign concept development & planning
- Customer consultation & engagement
- Sales team enablement
- Hot & Post-Project Reviews
- Leadership action-learning & development
- Agile, change and digital transformation teams - mobilisation, visioning, planning, continuing support ...
- Management & Employee engagement programs
- Post-merger integration
- Community building - developing a shared vision for your community and understanding of how to get there, getting action...
So, should we be talking?
With my amazing team of associates, I design and facilitate workshops, off-sites, team away days and conferences, for small teams or groups up to 300 people.
There’s no single, cure-all method, so we draw upon a range of approaches to meet your specific needs. These could include:
- Storytelling, theatre, model-making, visuals, journey-mapping and the like, to fully engage participants’ creativity, AND give a solid foundation for communication and action
- Meeting frameworks such as Open Space and Metaplan, and
- Structured processes such as Creative Problem-Solving and project planning

Lots of people claim to be good facilitators and consultants, but I know very few who I would call seasoned creative professionals, and Jean Marc is at the top of that list. You’ll get useful insights from the very first conversation, so give him a call.
Alan Arnett. Founder, The Exploration Habit
Jean-Marc’s collaborative style and his ability to draw on a deep well of practical tools and techniques were precisely what we needed. He has an understated, thoughtful facilitation style which is all the more powerful for subtly bringing the best out of teams and individuals.
Kevin Dinnage. Leadership Development, BP
Jean-Marc has acted as a facilitator on a number of occasions when it was necessary to bring together a group of professionals and get them to progress aims and objectives which not only had to be teased out but then formulated into a strategy. He was able to do this in such a way as to ensure engagement of all concerned and produce results which are still in use today. I have no hesitation in recommending him to any future employer who requires skill, patience, a critical eye and an ability to identify the core values.
Jack Wraith. MBE. CEO, multiple Telecoms Industry Associations
Jean-Marc presented to Merck a futuristic way of thinking which touched into area’s we had never considered … it was clear that we had gained something invaluable which we could now start to tailor to our own individual needs, this has now become an integral part of any sales meeting, where it not only generates idea’s but real innovation amongst the team whilst being enjoyable.
Stephen Harpham. Business Manager – Pigments, Merck Chemicals Ltd.
Your insights and observations, in particular, brought new light and wisdom to our thinking, helping us to see things in new and different ways.
Connie Philips. Managing Director. Strategies for Success
The workshop was organised to be flexible and responsive to our needs and participants gained a great deal from the day.
Becky Saunders. Development Officer. National Family and Parenting Institute.
(Jean-Marc and his colleagues) bring elegant design and fresh ideas to workshops and consultation events. They quickly understood what it was we wanted, helped us understand what we needed and then helped us to deliver it. Both events helped us to deliver, were enjoyed by participants and have been very productive in moving our partnership forward.
Karen Oellermann. Local Strategic Partnership Manager, South Bedfordshire District Council
In terms of the value Jean-Marc and his colleagues brought to the event, they were able to focus our thinking on outcomes, ensured we thought about how participants would be reacting at each stage of the event, and were agile and pragmatic enough to rework the day when confronted with a last minute change. We would recommend them wholeheartedly.
